Billy Horschel is one of the most experienced regulars on the PGA Tour and has a veteran caddie, too.

The American, who turned pro in 2009, has employed a few bagsmen throughout his career.

And it’s been a highly successful one, including multiple DP World Tour and PGA Tour wins, as well as a Presidents Cup triumph.

But Horschel has had different caddies for those successes, so here is a bit more detail on who he currently works with.

• Who is Billy Horschel’s wife?

• Who is the caddie for Rickie Fowler?

Billy Horschel’s caddie is Micah Fugitt, an experienced looper who has worked with a host of players, including Grayson Murray, Bryson DeChambeau, Ben Martin and Joe Ogilvie.

From Abilene, Texas, Fugitt began caddying in 2001 but his best days have been on the bag of Horschel.

He told the Caddie Network that “being on the bag for Billy Horschel during his amazing FedEx Cup run,” is his greatest memory as a caddie.

“He finished 2nd, win, win, on his way to win the FedEx Cup in 2014.”

They worked together for five and a half years before splitting in 2017 following the Waste Management Pheonix Open. That’s when Fugitt teamed up with DeChambeau.

“Billy told me he needed to change things up,” he said. “Sometimes a fresh start is good for the player and caddie.”

Before and after Fugitt, Horschel’s caddie was Mark Fulcher – known primarily as Justin Rose’s caddie.

• Who is the caddie for Will Zalatoris?

Horschel and Fulcher enjoyed a winning period together, too, with one of the highlights coming in 2021 at Wentworth, as Horschel won the BMW PGA Championship.

However, Horschel teamed up with Fugitt again in 2023 and after winning the Corales Puntacana Championship in April 2024, heaped praise on his caddie.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of good caddies on my bag and throughout time, you know, as a person, as humans, we grow, we change, we change what we need, we change what we want.

“I was fortunate enough that Micah agreed to come back on the bag last May. And Micah’s been unbelievable.

“Even when we were playing really badly last year when he came on the bag, he was positive the entire time. So, it’s been great to have him back on the bag.

“He’s been, like I said, I can’t say enough for the work he’s done over the last 10 months of just being there as not only caddie but as a friend, because he is a friend.”
