It comes to no surprise that the new Titleist GT drivers are performing on tour and at the Travelers Championship, they stood out.

The new Titleist GT Drivers have been spotted on tour, but the performance of these new drivers is definitely showing improvements off the tee for Titleist players already.

Firstly, six out of the top 12 Titleist players were gaming the new GT driver, and three of them have had their best driving stats of 2024.

Not only that, Tom Kim has switched to the GT driver and at the Travelers Championship he finished second, only beat in a play-off match against the World No.1, Scottie Scheffler.

With 85.71% in driving accuracy and 48 out of 56 fairways hit, Kim was lighting it up with the GT Driver off the Tee.

Meanwhile, Cameron Young and Brian Harman also enjoyed season-best performances with the driver.

Brian Harman would finish second on strokes gained off the tee with 5.086 and finish sixth in driving accuracy with 80.36%. For someone who averages 0.048 in strokes gained off the tee, this is a huge improvement for the 2023 Open Champion.

Cameron Young finished tied ninth with Brian Harman and also had a great week off the tee with his new Titleist GT driver. He got into contention after the second round, after carding an eleven-under 59. He leaddriving distance for the week at 315.70 yards and finished fifth in strokes gained.

From the outside looking in, the guys who have the new drivers in play are definitely knocking on the door and the stats don’t lie. It’s clear the distance and accuracy across the board with all players, highlight that the new technology behind the Titleist drivers is working wonders.

Unfortunately, the review won’t be out until August but it will be worth the wait, so stay tuned.
