Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag review

There really isn’t many worse things than hearing either your clubs, or the clubs of a playing partner rattling against each other. It’s an annoying sound that, over 18 holes, can really get on your nerves.

This bag from Ogio aims to stop that from happening. Their slogan for this range is ‘Quiet. Please.’ and when you look at the top of the bag, you’ll see why that’s the case.

The Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag features their patented club WOODE silencer protection system. This might look slightly unusual at first, but immediately you can see how it will work.

And then there’s the colour scheme. The bag we tested out came in the Tiger Swirl scheme. That will certainly stand out from the crowd. Like really, you won’t lose this bag anytime soon. If you want something a bit more reserved, then there’s a plain black model that will blend in with the crowd a little more. But who wants to do that?!

Let’s take a closer look at all the details.

The First Look

As we say, this bag immediately catches the eye. That’s partly down to the colour scheme, but also down to the silencer technology on the top of the bag.

Personally, I think this is a great looking golf bag. It’s large and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design. The two side pockets that are made for apparel are very spacious, while the valuables pocket that sits on the side of the bag is large and lined with velour.

The silencer technology will immediately split opinion on looks. It’s nothing like a conventional bag top, with 15 slots for your clubs to go into.

Overall, in the looks department, it gets a big tick from me, but I’m aware it won’t be for everyone.

The Tech

There’s only one place to start with this and that’s the WOODE Silencer technology at the top of the bag.

Ogio say that this will allow you to enjoy the silence of the golf course, something which can be rudely interrupted by clubs crashing into each other, particularly if you’re walking across a gravel path.

Incorporated in these 15 dividers is a larger putter well, which allows for thick grips that we often see on putters these days.

As you would expect with a premium bag, this comes with seam sealed zippers and premium waterproof materials, to keep your gear dry in poor conditions.

There is also straps on the back of this bag that you can use to secure the Ogio to your trolley. That will ensure that not only are your clubs secure within the bag, but the bag is secure on the trolley itself.

The All Elements range gets updated with Ogio’s patented Silencer club protection system in our new 15 way moulded WOODĒ top cart bag. Along with new colours and patterns for 2024, the All Elements silencer bag offers seam sealed zippers and premium waterproof materials to keep all your golf gear dry when playing in any conditions while making a statement about your individual taste in golf bags! With superb storage and organisation features, lock down straps to your trolley and silencer technology, this is the ideal cart bag for 2024.

The bunkered Verdict

If you’re a golfer who hates it when their clubs rattle on the golf course, then this is the cart bag for you.

It’s a gripe I completely sympathise with and when you have new irons or wedges in the bag, the last thing you want is for them to be rattling about and hitting each other.

This technology does its job to stop that, so it certainly delivers on its main aim. This won’t be to everyone’s taste though, and that’s absolutely fine. Ogio do offer similar cart bags without this technology, so if you’re someone who just wants a traditional top on your bag, you can look there.

Another positive about this bag is that it’s very large, so there’s more than enough space for storing things in. Whether you’re a golfer who likes to carry several different items of clothing on the course, a healthy supply of golf balls, or various other bits and pieces, you’ll appreciate this.

What we will say, is that all these features come at a price. At £319, this bag isn’t cheap, but it’s an investment that is going to last a long time, while taking your on course style to a different level. This bag made our Best Golf Trolley Bags buying guide for a reason.

Overall, this is a great cart bag from Ogio. It looks the part, the technology has been well thought out and you’ll be able to take more than enough things onto the golf course with it. It’s not cheap, but the Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag is a worthwhile investment if you’re looking for a cart bag for 2024.
